It’s the new year, and we’re bound to enter a new defining moment in history as technology progresses. Phones becoming more advanced than the stagnated home computer market. Television sets with HDR and 5K resolution advancing beyond of that resolution becoming commonplace features on televisions in 2017 and beyond. Far more powerful drones that are more efficient with new features that enthusiasts in the field would love to trade their dead GoPro Karma Drone for.
Here’s some of our predictions:
- Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 dominating the tech show as their latest rumored chipset, Snapdragon 835, is in the nearing horizon. The 835 chipset being announced for 2017 phones with launches scheduled in Q2 2017. Overtaking the 820 and slightly higher powered 821 by far greater power efficiency and performance.
- LG announcing their latest flagship won’t be reminiscent of 2016’s modular LG G5. The rumored LG G6 is destined to improve on the failures that affected LG’s performance in the year. In addition, LG’s Friends is done for to include a focus on what the device should contain out of the box.
- Sony, LG, Panasonic, Samsung, and others unveiling their latest televisions featuring the latest and outrageous technology. However, they’re mainly to demonstrate and boast what the future may hold in time. 8K television is something to behold but Samsung and LG’s are incredibly pricey passing the $100,000 price tag that were demonstrated at CES 2016. HDR-equipped television is becoming common as content creators are slowly providing access with appealing shows and films.
- Cars of the future, will be here and now in 2017. With Faraday Futures unveiling their electric car that is destined to compete among Tesla, Chevrolet, and others. Will we see something worthwhile that could have us skip the affordable Tesla 3 at less than $35,000?
- Virtual Reality is here and only becoming better and affordable. After Oculus and other companies unveiling their technology with a price tag past the $500 mark. Will we see any new products or companies unveiling a more comfortable sub-$300 product?
- Nintendo demonstrating their latest console, Switch behind the scenes as they prepare for the console launch in Q2 2017.
- And more..
We shall cover announcements as they become public. Tune in for a great year, here in the Digital Void.
