Disney To Receive Full Control Of Hulu

Comcast plans to sell their remaining stake of 33% of Hulu to Disney. Which will give them complete control of the streaming company. However, content from Comcast will remain until 2024. When the shift is set to take over, it’ll phase itself out of the service.
Disney might plan to push for a streaming bundle as it releases its upcoming Disney+ service. Bundling Hulu alongside Disney+ that’ll create a major competition against Netflix.
With this agreement in place, Comcast seems to receive a proper departure package with sale pricing. Remaining in place till it goes through in 2024, stock pricing of Hulu could jump to benefit Comcast even more. Now the major question is, what will happen to customers of Hulu? Will they remain as NBCUniversal content will not be available anymore after 2024? The streaming industry is starting to get congested with new services opening up.
