Huawei Is Hit By Another One

Today has been a bad day for Chinese giant, Huawei. As Google earlier today cut the company off from the Android operating system. Both the Android license and access to Google Play Services and the Play Store are suspended which will create a lot of headache for users globally. Now, companies such as Intel, Qualcomm and Broadcom have joined in the ban called by the United States government imposed on Huawei. Based on the allegations that their products are being used for the Chinese government for surveillance.

However, this sudden course of events shouldn’t deter Huawei much as the company has been preparing for such scenario. Developing an in-house operating system that’ll be used on Huawei devices in case Google, which did, revokes the Android license from Huawei. Furthermore, Huawei has their own processing units that shouldn’t be deterred either. Using the Kirin processors in all their devices now should bypass the issue with Qualcomm’s Snapdragons.

All of these sidesteps will be a headache for Huawei for now. They’ve been preparing for this event and now their backup plans will move forward. What further actions can the United States government do to impede Huawei? As their backup plans go full-steam ahead, only time will tell to answer the question.
