It was an important day for EA. Announcing several important updates and a game as well as E3 draws near. Starting off their event was revealing gameplay for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. A highly anticipated game for the Star Wars franchise that’s lacking good video games. However, reception for the game and gameplay was well received. With an emphasis on the story, it is much needed. Coming out November 15 on several platforms. For those that attended EA Play in person were able to have additional gameplay footage.

Apex Legends next season content was revealed with lots of goodies. Starting with the reveal of Season 2’s name Battle Charge. Ranked mode will allow players claim brag rights with a six-tier system. From basic to Apex Predator, it doesn’t sound that bad to be honest. Respawn emphasized in their failure of their first season’s content and pushed for more flair. A new weapon was announced coming from Titanfall 2, known as L-Star. Which is a plasma-based weapon that packs a punch. It will be available as a supply drop weapon and that’ll limit the ammo available for it. The new legend coming to Battle Charge is named Wattson, which pun-intended an electrified name. She has the ability to create electrified fences to slow and damage the enemy. As well as her ultimate to destroy grenades and bombardments and amplifying her ultimate recovery timer.

The next game that was presented, Battlefield V. With more content being revealed as Chapter IV: Defying the Odds is released on June 27th. We will receive a new map each month till Chapter V comes out in the Fall. With the first one being Al Sundan that’s set in the North Africa theater. The player cap for Battlefield V will increase to 500 from the current level 50. Giving a bigger emphasis on the level grinders. Chapter V will result in the Pacific theater being added starting with Iwo Jima and Japan and the US as playable factions.

See you all at Bethesda and E3!
