Bethesda Press Conference

Celebrating the community and announcing the latest content for their games. Bethesda Softworks had a great day in Los Angeles for their annual festival.

Fallout 76 was the first to be covered with their latest updates. Announcing a new expansion called “Wastelanders” that’ll bring new NPCs and a dialogue tree. Following the trend, a battle-royale mode is coming known as Nuclear Winter that holds up to 52-players in radioactive action. In addition, there will be a free week-long trial to encourage new players.

Next game Bethesda delved into, is Elder Scrolls: Blades. A free-to-play mobile title of the popular RPG series. Announcing its release tonight as well as a Nintendo Switch version coming.

Tango Gameworks is a Japanese company known for Evil Within and they got announce their latest title on stage. Presented by Shinji Mikami and Ikumi Nakamura announced, Ghostwire Tokyo. Which is a supernatural game that isn’t as horror-based from their previous titles.

Elder Scrolls Online is fresh with a new update known as Elsweyr that brings in a dragon as well as a popular character from the series. New updates to game, introduces a new player cap to increase the meaning massively multiplayer online for Elder Scrolls.

Bethesda managed to convince id Software to allow them to reintroduce a popular character to the new generation. Commander Keen has been announced as a mobile title. With the reveal that a new generation in the game is taking the helm as well. Featuring Billy and Billie who are the children of Billy Blaze.

Rage 2 is receiving a new content update. Allowing players to pilot a mech, new vehicles, cheats and a new game mode. As well as introducing a new faction known as the Ghosts. Just bringing more insanity into the game is a great treat for Rage 2 players.

On top of these announcements were Wolfenstein: Youngblood as well as another Wolfestein game. Based in virtual reality, you can control Nazi machines where you in turn kill them. Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot will be coming out soon. Arkane Studios announced Deathloop which has two protagonists killing each other. In a constant time loop where one tries to break it or keep it going. id Software has been developing a new technology for streaming services. To lower latency and increase performance known as Orion. Being able to be used as a layer in any engine or service through id’s SDK for Orion. Quite an ambitious solution. The last game to be focused is Doom Eternal. Showing more gameplay footage of the Slayer and allowing attendees to have playtime at the event. They revealed a new gamemode, Battlemode where 2:1 fight to the death in several rounds. It was a great event indeed.
