Onto the second day at E3 2019, DigitalVoid staff headed over to the Microsoft section. Holding an area dedicated to their Mixer streaming service. Where attendees can participate in a VR experience and win prizes. At the Microsoft theater, it was dedicated to the Xbox platform where they gave out an Xbox Game Pass stamp raffle. Where given a required amount of stamps are given by completing challenges. A code is given as a prize to scratch off that ranges from 1, 3 to 12-months subscription of Xbox Game Pass. Inside the Microsoft theater held a booth dedicated to the new Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. Showing off its design and a tech demo demonstrating different ways to use it. They also had a merchandise store of everything Microsoft and also a T-shirt booth allowing your gamertag to be printed on it. The stage in the theater held a variety of Xbox games for players to complete and receive a stamp for their Xbox Game Pass raffle. A photo-op of Gears 5 cosplayers on the side was available to attendees.
Nearby, Gamespot held their own venue where people can receive prizes. HyperX and Jack in the Box were the key sponsors for Gamespot. Where Jack in the Box were giving out a mystery box containing random loot to entries.
Ending the day was deciding between trying out the upcoming Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Breakpoint or getting a glimpse of Cyberpunk 2077. Crowd control of Cyberpunk 2077 was discouraging attendees by stating that they’re closed for the day. Only to re-open on lucky but unsuspecting attendees to avoid drawing large crowds. We got a 30-minute gameplay demonstration of Cyberpunk 2077 played by their developer. Going through the different mechanics such as story, classes, vehicles and combat. It was a work-in-progress playthrough but was exciting none-the-less. That game will be released April 16, 2020.
Tomorrow will be the final day of the event. DigitalVoid will attend the Elon Musk and Todd Howard event held at the E3 Coliseum tomorrow at noon. As well as getting the opportunity on trying out Breakpoint. See you there!
