Popular YouTuber Simone Giertz Modified A Tesla Model 3 To A Truck

With the Tesla pickup truck set to revealed later this summer. Some Model 3 owners have grown inpatient to get their hands on one. As YouTuber Simone Giertz is one to show, taking matters into her own hands. By modifying a Tesla Model 3 by removing the back portion of the car and placing a truck bed.

It took a team of engineers to work on this project for over a year. Alongside Giertz, are Marcos Ramirez, Richard Benoit and Laura Kampf. Each one with skills to make the frankenstein project work. Marcos Ramirez is known in the Bay Area as a mechanic and an artist. Richard Benoit runs a YouTube channel known as Rich Rebuilds, which focuses on modifying Tesla vehicles. While Laura Kampf is a Youtuber and designer.

The results are great! With lots of truck-like additions, it harkens back to older hybrid models. That had the body of a sedan and truck bed in the rear of the car. Such as the El Camino that is no longer popular with today’s tastes. However, Tesla states that the upcoming truck will be off putting in what today’s truck owners are used to. The style and technology behind it might spark the auto industry to take note. As Tesla is an industry leader in pushing change in style, technology and service. We might see something!
