Due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, the event was pre-recorded and distributed online. nVidia announced their newest architecture cards, Ampere that succeeds their previous Turing line-up. Which features a near double improvement in every capacity. The 2nd-generation RTX graphics cards improves on RT Cores, Tensor Cores and more. Stating the new cards have 2x the performance and 1.9x the performance over watt over the previous 2000-series graphics cards.
nVidia’s CEO Jensen Huang announced several upcoming software that uses nVidia’s power such as Broadcast and Omniverse Machinima. Broadcast which gives users the ability to use their webcams to eliminate backgrounds through the use of AI. Removing the need of a green screen, think of Zoom and other video call software that intelligently eliminates the backgrounds. Omniverse Machinima embraces the artcraft of videogames to create content, pulling assets from video games into nVidia’s program. Allowing users to create their stories by manipulating assets with materials, special effects, and also physically animate them using AI. Other enhancements that gives nVidia users performance boosts such as Reflex. It allows gamers using nVidia graphics cards to optimize the latency that’s shown on screen. Giving them an edge especially on twitch-based games.
Aside from software that nVidia made for RTX and nVidia users, Huang announced the hardware. First unveiling the flagship RTX 3080, priced at an appealing $699 USD. With a higher performance than 2080 Ti and at a lower-cost. The RTX 3080 contains:

Priced at $1,499 USD and reportedly able to play 8K games at 60 FPS. It eliminates the Titan series which is normally priced at $2,400 USD. Gamers can have that power at $1,000 USD less. Incredible.
