The Map of Tiny Perfect Things Review

Released this week, The Map of Tiny Perfect Things is a teen romance-comedy film. Starring Kyle Allen and Kathyrn Newton as Mark and Margaret. The film starts with Mark whose stuck in a time-loop until he encounters Margaret. She is stuck in a time-loop as well and as the two grow closer, Margaret remains a mystery to Mark. Nearing the climax of the film, Mark realizes despite his attempts of escape or reconciliation, this time-loop isn’t his but Margaret’s. With the film shifting focus to her story of acceptance of a terminally ill mother. The short story adapted-film is a teen rehash of ‘Groundhog Day’ and other similar films. However, Allen and Newton’s performances do a good enough job to entertain and move you emotionally during the film’s 99 minute runtime. The Map of Tiny Perfect Things is a fun teen film to watch.

It earns a 3 out of 5.
