My Hero Academia ‘All Hands On Deck! Class 1-A’ Review

Released this week, episode 89 of My Hero Academia premiered titled ‘All Hands On Deck! Class 1-A.’ Beginning shortly after Endeavor’s fight with a Nomu, the students of class 1-A are retelling it cheeringly. With Todoroki feeling a bit proud of his father and confirming with the class that he’s recovering. Soon, Aizawa appears with a random training drill have the class gear up. The students split up into teams with Bakugo as always, going rogue dragging Kaminari and Kirishima with him. It first starts well with the teams completing their tasks and recovering Mirio who’s acting as a victim. Abruptly, Neijre and Tamaki appear as villains and attack the students. Though Tamaki feels reluctant playing as the villain and wants to go home. Neijre and the students encourage him to go through with his role as the villain. A battle occurs with Neijre being detained but Tamaki gets the upper-hand especially when Midoriya holds back from hurting Tamaki. Midoriya gets thrown off but Kirshima appears and body slams Tamaki. Bakugo launches from the car his team took and deals the final strike on Tamaki. Despite the drill ending, Bakugo wants more of a fight and causes a large explosion. The faculty calls Bakugo for a meeting later. The season premiere starts off great by finishing last season’s cliffhanger. Though, after the end credits we learn more of what happened. ‘All Hands On Deck! Class 1-A’ is worth a watch. With the number one hero recovering and leaving us wondering what direction the villains might take advantage for the moment.

It earns a 3 out of 5.
