My Hero Academia ‘Match 3 Conclusion’ Review

Released this week, episode 96 of My Hero Academia premiered titled ‘Match 3 Conclusion.’ We start right from the previous episode as Class 1-B is on the edge of victory with most of Class 1-A at their mercy. However, Ida uses his new skill to turn the match in his favor. Causing the hardened ground to collapse and make Honenuki concerned at the possibility of losing. Elsewhere, Ojiro is weakening from the blows Kaibara uses with his drill powers. Ida races to his rescue and kidnaps Kaibara as he’s tossed into Class 1-A’s jail cell. Unfortunately for Ojiro, he gets tossed into Class 1-B’s jail cell as Tsunotori uses her horn powers to force him in. Back to Todoroki who’s in combat with Tetsutetsu with things changing temperature drastically. The two put up an insane fight but once again Ida shows up to rescue an unconscious Todoroki and run off. Sadly, a barely conscious Honenuki causes a silo to be collapsed by Tetsutetsu to fall onto Ida and Todoroki. Which crushes Ida and Todoroki who is still unconscious is captured by Tsunotori. She uses her horn powers to lift Honenuki, Tetsutetsu and Todoroki to gain distance from Shoji. As the timer runs in the match leaving it to be a draw. It was an insane match and will continue as the episode ends right as Match 4 is set to begin. ‘Match 3 Conclusion’ continues to show the new skills learned from both Class 1-A and 1-B as they duke it out. What will Match 4 result in as one more match will remain after it.

It earns a 3 out of 5.
