My Hero Academia ‘Early Bird!’ Review

Released this week, episode 97 of My Hero Academia premiered titled ‘Early Bird!’ We continue from the previous episode as the fourth match begins. Consisting of Bakugo, Jiro, Sero and Sato for Class 1-A as they charge towards Class 1-B’s team. The match quickly ends as Class 1-B underestimated Bakugo’s willingness on teamwork in total victory. Toshinori (All Might) is proud of the progression Bakugo has gone through despite being stubborn and self-centered. Who’s own goal is to surpass All Might and even Midoriya who takes it as a friendly rivalry. The final match involves Class 1-A’s Midoriya, Uraraka, Mineta and Ashido against Class 1-B’s Monoma, Kodai, Shoda, Yanagi and Shinso. With Monoma and Shinso learning Class 1-B’s mistakes from the fourth match and not to underestimate Midoriya. ‘Early Bird!’ is exactly how it sounds as we progress to the fifth and final match U.A. puts on the two hero classes. However, how will both teams perform in the final match as they gain knowledge and pointers from their comrades that completed their own matches. The hype is real.

It earns a 2 out of 5.
