Star Wars: The Bad Batch ‘Battle Scars’ Review

Released this week, episode 7 of Star Wars: The Bad Batch premiered tilted ‘Battle Scars.’ The Bad Batch escapes from a squad of fighters after capturing an animal for a job. Once they arrive at Cid’s bar, we learn that a cloaked Captain Rex has found them after being tipped by Rafa. A quick reunion turns a bit tense as Rex becomes aware that the squad still has their inhibitor chips and need to get them removed as soon as possible. He tells them to meet him on Bracca (which was seen in Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order) to find one of the many potential med-bays in a field of abandoned Venators. The team finds a med-bay and prepare Wrecker who continuously becomes affected by the inhibitor chip. At the last moment, he becomes entranced and attacks the team. Going full on T-800, making the situation that intense. Even going after poor Omega before finally Rex recovers and stuns Wrecker. In the end, all of the Bad Batch undergoes the operation and are freed from their inhibitor chips. Before cutting to black, scavengers in the outskirts spot Hunter and alerts the Empire. ‘Battle Scars’ was a great episode and brought a reunion to everyone with Rex’s presence. Will the Bad Batch escape before the Empire arrive and potentially have Crosshair with them?

It earns a 4 out of 5.
