My Hero Academia ‘The New Power And All For One’ Review

Released this week, episode 100 of My Hero Academia premiered titled ‘The New Power and All For One.’ Still at the arena, Aizawa mentions to Monoma that his quirk will be required for the next day. Elsewhere, Midoriya is training with Bakugo and All Might on triggering his new ability of Blackwhip. He doesn’t trigger it, no matter what Bakugo does and in his own way encourages Midoriya to figure it out. The following day, Midoriya and Mirio learn that Eri will have her quirk copied by Monoma to teach her how to control it. Unfortunately, Monoma states that it’s a blank which he defines having to accumulate over time. Midoriya gives Eri the courage to learn to control her quirk despite her still being traumatized of what something uncontrolled could do. We learn that it’s the same day that Todoroki and Bakugo have their provisional exam which they successfully complete. An attack occurs on their way back with the two taking on the villains and All Might holding civilians away. Slidin’ Go, a pro hero appears and praises for the newly licensed heroes as he takes the captured villains away. ‘The New Power And All For One’ is a slow episode but continues the story overall even teasing a Christmas episode next! After 100-episodes, My Hero Academia still holds strong in various characters and their own journey’s.

It earns a 3 out of 5.
