Star Wars: The Bad Batch ‘Devil’s Deal’ Review

Released this week, episode 11 of Star Wars: The Bad Batch premiered titled ‘Devil’s Deal.’ We start off on Ryloth, another planet that is integrating with the Galactic Empire. Admiral Rampart and Senator Orn Free Taa are present as well as Eleni Syndulla and General Cham Syndulla. The crowd is tense in accepting the new order but Cham calms the population. Elsewhere, a young Hera Syndulla and Chopper (coming off from Star Wars: Rebels) is spying on an Imperial refinery and is caught by Imperial troopers. They’re brought before Cham as clone Captain Howzer explains the situation and warns him of his daughter from doing something dangerous again. Later, Gobi Glie asks Hera about tagging along as they head somewhere on a shuttle. They arrive onto a nearby moon and the Bad Batch arrives with crates of weaponry. When they return to Ryloth, they’re intercepted by the Imperials who were following Gobi and Hera. Eleni and Cham race off to save them upon learning their immediate sentence of treason. Things go to plan in the rescue until Crosshair fires at Senator Taa which suggests to implicate Cham and Eleni as traitors. ‘Devil’s Deal’ continues the story and introduces more characters from previous instances. Learning more about the growing changes that sometimes can be difficult to process. The Bad Batch weren’t the main heroes for this episode so more than likely, next episode will be a rescue mission for them.

It earns a 4 out of 5.
