My Hero Academia ‘The Hellish Todoroki Family’ Review

Released this week, episode 105 of My Hero Academia premiered titled ‘The Hellish Todoroki Family.’ We resume with our three young heroes following Endeavor, who’s holding them accountable to their task of beating his timing on catching a villain. Back at the office, Endeavor receives a call from his daughter Fuyumi. She’s inviting him, Shoto and his classmates (Midoriya and Bakugo) on the idea for a family dinner. Endeavor, as we see in a flashback and previous instances is fighting the ghost of his past. One who hurt his family without any regard to those consequences. Now aiming to accept and reconcile if possible. Later, the four are out on patrol and the three young heroes’ task remains at large with Endeavor quickly getting the job done. Now nightfall, the four head to the Todoroki home and dinner is ready. Natsuo is present but is quickly unable to continue to be near his father’s presence and leaves the room. Conversations between family and advice from Midoriya and Bakugo suggests things may be improving. In another room, Endeavor is at a shrine of his older deceased son, Toya and wishes that he was present with them. ‘The Hellish Todoroki Family’ is a meaningful episode with Endeavor’s growing development and more is revealed about the Todoroki family.

It earns a 4 out of 5.
