My Hero Academia ‘My Villain Academia’ Review

Released this week, episode 108 of My Hero Academia premiered titled ‘My Villain Academia.’ The perspective is now on the League of Villains and what transpired in the last two months. With a bloody but enlightened Tomura Shigaraki emerging victorious in the ruins of Deika City. In a flashback, a suggestion from Kurogiri in using a powerful tool that’ll tip of the balance to them. That tool ends up being Gigantomachia, appearing before the remaining League of Villains in the outskirts and immediately attacks them. A voice coming out of a nearby radio that belongs to Gigantomachia explains to Shigaraki about All For One’s personal bodyguard. In addition, the voice refers to All For One having ordered Gigantomachia to retreat to the outskirts believing that even All Might may defeat him. Believing that his successor, Shigaraki will be able to control him but Gigantomachia’s undying loyalty to All For One refuses to believe him to be. The voice is All For One’s doctor, he plays soundbits of All For One to calm Gigantomachia as he summons the League to his location. There, Shigaraki gives a speech on why he believes to truly be All For One’s successor. The doctor is on-board but also believes that as long Gigantomachia doesn’t see him as the successor, then he truly isn’t. Shigaraki and the rest of the League must tame him before the doctor can give him his full support. Time passes but the League still can’t tame the beast. Afterwards, Twice receives a call from Giran, their long-time acquaintance whose been kidnapped by the Meta Liberation Army. Leader of the army, Re-Destro threatens the League to submit to them or face several heroes being tipped to the League’s current location and be arrested. Shigaraki aims to fight the Army and formulates and idea to use a resting Gigantomachia whose only aim to find and defeat Shigaraki. No matter his location. ‘My Villain Academia’ puts the show’s perspective onto the League of Villains, primarily on Tomura Shigaraki. Putting us back in time to before the emergence of a victorious Shigaraki in Deika City. Which the following episode is going to send us there. Things are aiming to become darker.
