Digital Void TV’s Journey For 2022

Hello! As 2021 ends and the new year is now upon us, there’s lots to talk about. Despite the regular reference as an organization, Digital Void TV currently runs off as a hobby and maintained by an individual which is Eddie Lopez. We’re inspired by G4TV, Game Informer and other gaming organizations but focused in our own identity. Now that’s out of the way, let’s begin with the website and organization’s future for 2022. First off, bringing awareness that another organization uses our name and in order to co-exist we will push forward ‘Digital Void TV’ in all forms as reference towards us. For ourselves, it’s a combination between meanings of the two words or three? Digital as in relating to numerical and technology. Which works with Void, endless vast amounts of depth and possibilities. Finally TV for television in a modern sense of content and entertainment that isn’t constrained to the box. Digital Void TV runs with the tagline ‘Gamers destination for news and content.’ Which, we’re glad to be continuing to do on a daily basis!

Daily I/O

From the onset of 2021 with Daily I/O as a quick rundown of yesterday’s news in a video format, something that is planned on returning in 2022 in a similar but different format. As well as constant trailer postings, occasional news and reviews in films and television. There is also music, game and tech reviews planned but those require planning on how to properly review them. In addition, video format of these reviews have been complicated due to DMCA on YouTube so a proper format to avoid that is also being figured out. We must reiterate that we’re currently a one-man operation and Digital Void TV is running on a low-profile at the moment. With growth, we’ll hopefully gain the opportunity to do so more frequently and at ease. Stay tuned!

Digital Void Presents (In-Progress)

Since March 2020, a simple idea for additional content to post slowly grew into something bigger. To be honest, the internet is pretty big but saturated with same content formats for practically anything. To stand out, requires to be different and interesting to gain traffic. Unfortunately, since Digital Void TV is a one-man operation and the idea is somewhat ambitious. Inspired by Unsolved Mysteries, Insidious, The Mandalorian and such in style, mood, technology, so forth. Basically to explain the series, going through a time capsule to follow the development of films made in the Los Angeles area from its conception to what happened when it was released at the time. Having recreated several scenes from these films in Blender and using Unreal Engine to create the virtual space to insert Eddie Lopez in as host. Things have been slowly progressing but nearing completion in the first six episodes. Question is after all the headache, will we get another season going? The goal is to have it done before the project’s two year make in the making. We plan on interviewing the cast and crew for each film to gain more of their insight and their recollection of the whole journey at the time.

Aside from these two content made in a still on-going pandemic, we have other stuff planned that are more-or-less ambitious. To name a few, ‘Let’s Play’ is an old format but still do-able to grow traffic to our YouTube channel and website too. It’ll have series of games focused in both horror genres and in general to fill two days of the week! To spice it up in our own way, they’re thought to run in a television format for less than 30-minute run-times. If we do have the ability, we’d like to have original ads slapped in to make it feel like an episode. Yes, if you browse our website you’ll see an older Let’s Play series that Eddie Lopez formerly ran on the ‘Locked In Fear’ channel that lived and breathe horror. It’s been absorbed to us as what you can say is a programming block. Speaking of which, jumping to the next paragraph!

We are planning on doing various contents regarding spooky haunted locations near us. The end goal is to create documentary style videos and ghost investigations of the locations. At first, it’ll be a simple digestible format within 5-minutes explaining the history and as a montage of the location. Of course to squeeze out content, it’ll have two separate videos in both day and night! Furthermore, another content that’s planned and still being thought out is narrating horror stories. Once again to differentiate it, possibly animating it in either a 2D or 3D format as well as adding in sound effects and/or voice actors depending on the story. The end goal for those is to hopefully create them into short live-action films, why not?

Departing the horror related talk, we also plan on going to theme parks near us and create content! Reporting the latest news, rumors and deals. As well as going over a location’s history and/or information. Whether that’s an attraction, restaurant or general area. However, once again this is still being thought out and we hope to get these posts going soon! Another form of content planned is focusing on a game and talk about its ongoing development and related news, to put out an example would be Star Citizen, Rainbow Six Siege, Dead by Daylight and so on. Of course, this is a bias choice due to being favored and frequented games played by us. However, wouldn’t it be a right choice to cover a game having knowledge beforehand rather than being completely oblivious.

Aside from these more fleshed out ideas, we have of course. More. Slowly but surely, those will start their development too to become reality. The end goal for 2022 is to have Digital Void TV gain an audience, small is more than welcomed. Hopefully giving the ability to have a helping hand to allow Eddie Lopez get some workload off onto someone else. The future of 2022 appears bright and we can’t wait for you to continue following us on our journey!
