Spielberg Against Streamed Movies At Oscars

As streaming companies are pushing to be accepted on the big award stage. Where the recognition gives more exposure for audiences to see what exactly is the big deal. Some Hollywood top dogs such as Steven Spielberg are pushing against the flow. Believing their recognition isn’t for the Oscars but the Emmys. For those not aware, Oscars are for films screened in theaters, while Emmys are for television content. Although, the legendary director is against these films winning awards at the Oscars. He is fine with working on streaming projects. Big Hollywood studios have also previously rallied on this opinion as streaming companies are able to push for a quick cash grab and playing the system to become nominated. We won’t know until after the meeting April to see if his words are able to push to a new direction for next year’s awards.
